Dorset Road
( 2024 )

A kitchen-only renovation that gave a functional but characterless room an entirely new identity. A blank canvas, a bold approach, and a pill-shaped island with a hidden cocktail bar.

The room had too much on show — open shelving that created visual noise rather than ease. We replaced it with a fully bespoke kitchen designed in collaboration with HØLTE, built around Scandi-style restraint with a deliberate playful edge. The island is the centrepiece: pill-shaped, elegantly scaled, with a concealed cocktail cupboard. A wall of zellige tiles runs behind, with zellige-clad open shelving alongside. A kitchen built for cooking and for gathering — in which neither looks like an afterthought.
