A partial renovation of a Bayswater mews house — two rooms, precisely resolved. A new living space and a primary bedroom and bathroom suite. The brief was fresh, inviting and comfortable. The craft was in making those words mean something specific.

Details

The bathroom is the centrepiece: floor-to-ceiling sage-green tiles, Carrara marble vanity top, fluted oak unit, matte black hardware — enveloping and calm. The living floor was zoned into distinct atmospheres within a single level: a dedicated listening and vinyl area with bespoke open shelving, a grown-up sitting space with a deep forest green sofa and cognac leather armchair. Everything tactile, nothing excessive. A home that holds more than it shows.
