Phase one addressed every bedroom: new flooring, bespoke joinery, and a double reception room given shape and purpose — one side warm and social, the other pulled into something moodier with dark-painted walls and mid-century pieces. Phase two brought the kitchen into its own with a new extension: walnut and rich toffee cabinetry, slate worktops, a low curved banquette at the dining end. Bold and unexpected — but everything earns its place. The bedrooms tell their own stories: the principal suite retreats into quiet while a son's room brings the sunshine.
